The Montverde Greenway Trail or as locals refer to it "The Greenway" provides safer passage along County Road 455 for commuting and recreational activities. The paved trail runs along a former railroad bed and there are trash cans, picnic benches, and lamp posts along the route. Curving around Lake Florence, the path connects several parks, including Kirk Park, Lake Florence Park, and Truskett Park. Kirk Park has water stations, tennis courts and baseball/softball fields. Truskett Park has Lake Apopka access. Lake Florence Park has access to Lake Florence, but no boat launch. There is the possibility to connect the trail with the West Orange Trail or the Apopka Loop Trail in the future.
Parking is available 
near the southeast end of the trail at Truskett Park 17338-17350 1st St, Montverde) and midway along the trail on Park Lane at the intersection of 7th St & Lakeside Dr.
The trail is not that good anymore,building houses next to the trail,dirty,I remember it so different! Also the way to the Lake Apopka was closed and I came a long way with my dog ,because,the beautiful James van fleet trail,Groveland is temporary closed because of the hurricane IAN !!
