North Frontage Trail Description

Spanning over three miles along the side of Highway 52 as it runs through Rochester, the North Frontage Trail provides a space for cyclists and pedestrians alongside all the nearby automotive traffic. Aside from a pedestrian bridge at the southern end of the trail, which provides access over the highway to the east, the entirety of the trail follows the west side of the road as a wide, concrete sidepath along West Frontage Road. The surface turns to asphalt approaching the northern end of the trail, where connections to several other bike path trails are available.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available along the trail at Woodside Park, on Frontage Road/Marketplace Drive NW by the IBM campus.
