North Wildwood Seawall Trail Description

Along New Jersey's coast, a pathway atop a concrete sea wall provides a popular place for North Wildwood residents and visitors to enjoy ocean views. Beginning near 2nd Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard on the seaward side of the city, the route traces the Hereford Inlet. Along the way, a worthwhile side excursion is a visit to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse and its surrounding gardens. At the southern end of the trail, you can also easily access the nearby Wildwood Boardwalk, a popular local attraction.

Parking and Trail Access

On-street parking is available along John F. Kennedy Blvd.

The Seawall

The is a very unique biking experience, In the fall is the best time to ride here because it is the off season. If anybody is thinking about riding here, check out the photos on this trail page. You will what to do this.
I did my rides over two days in November 2017. The ocean, sea breeze, and beach just fills you with elation. One note, you cannot ride on top of the seawall. However, streets run parallel to the seawall. On the south-side, they have a ground level concrete boardwalk that leads to Wildwood.
Enclosing, to be there in the fall on a beautiful day is very special.
