Print Friendly MapIn western Green Bay, the Packerland Drive Trail primarily parallels its namesake roadway, just east of the airport. The paved trail is separated from traffic by a wide grassy median and has open, urban views. The trail provides access to several businesses along the way, including the Southwest Business Centre Park on its southern end.
About mid-trail on the east side of Packerland Drive, Hidden Valley Park with its arboretum, wooded walking paths, and picnic areas is worth a visit.
The Packerland Drive Trail runs 3.2 miles along Packerland Drive and together with the rest of the route in Green Bay makes up the West Main Loop totaling 6.9 miles.
Mid-trail, parking is available in Hidden Valley Park (3001 South Packerland Drive, Ashwaubenon).
We really enjoyed this trail. It zig zagged around the industrial park & we found the trail nice & smooth. Enjoyed taking a detour on Cypress so we could see the back side of the airport. kind of cool to be at the end of the runway when the planes take off
This trail/sidewalk may keep you off the road, but be prepared for many deep cracks, seams, driveway and curb cuts. Jarring would be an apt description of the quality of the ride.
Packerland Drive Trail is 3.2 miles in one direction. It is on Packerland Drive only. The map shows it taking different directions that is not considered the only Packerland Trail.. The map shown is the entire W. Main Loop.
Paved, part loop and part out and back trail. Gas stations along trail in case of low tire, bathroom, etc. Not a destination trail, but nice off the road trail to break up the monotony of riding around my neighborhood. Nice in early spring when gravel trails are soggy still.
I Parked at Hidden Valley Park 3001 Packerland Drive (enter from side street). I did think the trails in Hidden Valley Park were very pretty but Limestone. You need to cross Packerland at Hidden Valley to access the trail, it is well marked and easy to follow. An easy enough ride, it is urban with roads/highways to cross including Highway 172.
