Pleasant Grove Creek Trail is a paved hike-and-bike trail in the north of Roseville, California. The trail follows the course of Pleasant Grove Creek from east to west, with another branch flowing south. The trail connects neighbors to the nature in their backyard as well as to nearby parks and recreation. Trail designers ensured that there are plenty of neighborhood access points, enough to entice local residents out onto the trail.
The east-west segment runs in between Blue Oaks Blvd and Foothills Blvd. The first park connection is Dugan Park, which is north of the trail and connected by a paved spur. The park features a children's play area, bike parking and an open green space for passive and active recreation. Continuing on, the trail ducks under Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard and along McCloud Way into William Hughes Park. The trail takes you to all the park's highlights, from the playground and open field to the dog park, past the soccer pitches and tennis and basketball courts, finally emerging onto Parkside Way. Again, the trail ducks under the street and then meanders along the creek's wooded margins to the Crocker Ranch Road. Here you have the option of continuing on your original course west, which will take you to the end of the trail at Fiddyment Road.
You could also choose to pivot south along the street to Veterans Park, where you can connect to the south branch of the Pleasant Grove Creek Trail. This part of the trail starts at technically kicks off on the south end of the park, right at Blue Oaks Boulevard. However, you can connect to it via the concrete trails circumscribing the soccer fields down to the basketball area.
From Blue Oaks Boulevard, the south branch meanders along the stream, connecting to Baquera Park as well as to Blue Oaks Elementary and Blue Oaks Park. The trail deadends just south of the Cedar Springs Court access point.
Whatever route you choose, the Pleasant Grove Creek Trail provides a pleasant walk, roll or ride for people of all ages.
There is parking available on the north section of the trail at Oakbriar Ct. & Orchard View Road, Veteran's Memorial Soccer Fields (10021 Crocker Ranch Rd), William B. Hughes Park (south parking, Parkside Way), and William B. Hughes Park (north parking, 2797 McCloud Way).
Along the south section of the trail, there is parking at Veteran's Memorial Park, 1750 Blue Oaks Blvd.

This trail is quite beautiful in the Anders through beautiful wooded areas. Lots of beautiful parks to look at. And the creek is awesome.
It is beautiful with turns and bridges and up and down small hills and creeks and orchards and it was just lovely!!!
My son and I rode this trail. It is well kept, and just enough curves to keep the ride from getting boring. It was busy on this particular beautiful January day.
We started at William Hughes park. The park doesn’t have much parking so on weekends you may have to park in the neighborhood. You’ll see both families walking as well as bikers from the neighborhoods on this trail. The trail is rather short but nicely paved and not a lot of hills. While riding saw several riders going back and forth on my ride.
