Roadrunner Trail Description

The Roadrunner Trail forms an almost a complete loop in Mesquite, connecting neighborhoods, schools and several parks. Be sure to bring water and be prepared for little shade along the route.

Beginning at Desert Rose Park—which offers a covered picnic pavilion and restrooms—you can travel counterclockwise about 4 miles through the city. You'll skirt along a residential area and next arrive at Jensen Trailside Park, where parking, restrooms and a drinking fountain are available, as well as a dog park, playground and picnic area.

As the trail begins to make its circuit and turn east, you'll traverse Hafen Park—a nice place for a rest with a fishing pond and views of the mountains. Heading north, you'll hit three more parks on your journey northward: Pulsipher Park, Library Park and Old Mill Park. The trail ends at Woodbury Lane.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at Jensen Trailside Park (770 Second South St.), Hafen Park (450 W. Hafen Lane), Pulsipher Park (303 2nd S. St.) and Library Park (121 W. First North St.).

Roadrunner Trail Reviews

Very easy and scenic loop in Mesquite

My husband and I rode this trail after staying at the nearby casino. It’s nicely paved and has views of the mountains. We rode the loop which included the easy to ride portion along the road. All of the trail was flat and easy to navigate. A portion of the trail has lights and I was told by a local resident that the lights are on a night to illuminate the trail.

Nice trail

Easy goin trail…takes you through numerous parks…real nice for a quick, easy ride…

Can Make a Loop.

Location: Mesquite, NV
Parking: There are a number of nice parks along the trail with plenty of parking.
Trail Condition: Very good with wide pavement. There is one very narrow underpass at Mesquite Blvd on the east side of the loop. It is dark and there was some boxes of trash that could easily have been run into if not using caution. Consider using street crossing, not that much traffic.
Signage: Plenty of signs and trail easy to follow.
Comments: This is a nice loop through Mesquite passing through a number of nice parks. One of the parks had a spray fountain for the kids to play in. I made a loop of the trail, on the north end of the trail there is a short gap of no trail but can easily go along street to reconnect to trail. It is a very short distance and very little street traffic.
