Rock Island Road Bike and Pedestrian Trail Description

Providing the City of Irving with a major east-west pedestrian/bike route, the Rock Island Road Trail is a 10-foot-wide concrete path running between the West Irving DART station and Irby Lane. With its paved and level surface, the trail is accessible for those using mobility aids or for families with strollers. In addition, to offering safe and reliable access to light rail service, this trail connects neighborhoods, parks, schools, local businesses, and community facilities.

Parking and Trail Access

There is no parking designated for this trail, but the West Irving Station, a DART train station, is located by the trail's western endpoint. For more information, check out the DART website.
