Sisseton Pedestrian Path Description

Though the word pedestrian is in its name, the Sisseton Pedestrian Path is open to a range of non-motorized uses, including cycling and rollerblading. Beginning in Drenttel Park, the concrete path zigzags through the city for about a mile. Residents can use the path to hit recreation nodes like the aforementioned park with its picnic tables and green fields;  Anderson Park on the corner of Main and Ash streets, where users can enjoy a pick-up basketball game; and a sledding hill on Maple and Fourth, which is a delightful spot in the winter months. The trail concludes at 8th Ave. West, across from Sisseton High School.

Parking and Trail Access

Residents can access the trail by bike or on foot but if you do drive, you can park at Drenttel Park, located off of Hickory Street (State Route 10), just east of Veterans Avenue.
