Print Friendly MapWalk, bike or roll around Symphony Lake via this 10-foot wide greenway. The trail rings around the lake, providing panoramic views of the tranquil water, disturbed only by its resident waterfowl. It branches on the west side of the lake. One branch takes you to a pedestrian bridge over the lake that allows users to continue their circumnavigation. The other heads straight out to Regency Parkway, which it parallels for a short stretch before terminating at Glade Park Road.
On the east side, the trail connects to the Koka Both Amphitheater, an open-air events venue whose parking acts a trailhead for those wanting to visit the trail. Across Regency Parkway, trail users can continue their journey on the Swift Creek Greenway, a mile-long path which holds the distinction of being the first trail in the US that was built entirely with recycled materials.

My son and I wanted a place to walk that was easy, pretty and wheelchair friendly. Parking was great. We had no problem on any part of the trail. I guess the one down fall is to continue the trail around the water you walk on a main roads sidewalk. I did not want to do that so we turned around and back tracked the trail. Which was great for us. We saw turtles and cranes.
This is a very nice trail; a loop with a tail. Asphalt throughout and fairly popular. You have to make sure there isn't an event at the amphitheater though; the gates will then be closed and you will have to turn around (you can't go around the gates really either).
