Tomahawk Trail Description

The Tomahawk Trail runs for just over 72 miles through the Superior National Forest of northeastern Minnesota. The remote trail is one in a series of regional snowmobile trails that you can also hike. It begins at the Taconite State Trail just outside of Ely and continues to the C.J. Ramstad/North Shore State Trail just outside the community of Cramer.
