University Multi-Use Path Description

The University Multi-Use Path is so named because it lines the edge of the New Mexico State University Campus in Las Cruces. The trail sits on the south side of University Avenue between College Avenue & Jordan Street. It’s a paved, two-way path that is usable by for runners, walkers, bicyclists, dog walkers and wheelchair users. Though it’s short, there are several destinations along it: the Las Cruces Convention Center; Zuhl Museum; NMSU Center for the Arts; and NMSU Art Gallery. At its eastern end, it is steps away from the Triviz Multi-Use Path, which together with the Outfall Channel Trail and the La Llorona Multi-Use Path, forms a belt of recreational pathways around Las Cruces.
