Equestrian North Trail Description

The Equestrian North Trail extends south and then east from Equestrian Park North, which features a plethora of amenities for horses and their riders, including an arena, holding pen and trailer parking. This trail, while primarily intended for equestrian users, also welcomes walkers.

Across S. Magic Way, the trail connects to the paved Saguaro Trail. At its southwest edge, the path links to the paved Equestrian South Trail in Equestrian Park South. In the east, the trail merges into the River Mountains Loop Trail, a 35-mile route linking Henderson with the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Hoover Dam and Boulder City.

Best rout to head North on

This trail comes off of the union pacific just north of railroad pass. As it approaches equestrian Trail do you have a choice to go West in a steep downgrade or north towards Lake Mead With some amazing views of the Las Vegas Valley the strip and downtown. About halfway to Lake Mead Parkway there is a off shoot That allows you to dump out onto Burkhalter Road. That will take you to race track and Then Lakemeade Rd., West.Coming from the north expect an uphill climb of about 4°.
