Widened Sidewalk
By crhilton in February, 2011
The city decided to widen a sidewalk and call it a trail. It's normal width, but one side is a sound wall and the other side is a curb and 45mph street. There's literally no green space.

It's very noisy, due to the 45mph traffic reverberating off the sound wall, both a few feet away. The surface is poorly maintained.

There are numerous crossings. It's not a safe place to ride. If possible, use one of the other trails to go around. It's more pleasant.

It is cleared in the winter, although sometimes it takes a couple of extra days as the clearing for the street tends to get pushed onto the trail.
