The Fourth Street Trail is broken into two segments; both traverse the west side of Fourth Street. As of late 2011, there is no crossing over I-40. The northern segment runs between US 89 (Historic Route 66) and Huntington Drive, while the southern segment runs between Sparrow Avenue and a side street leading to the Forest Springs neighborhood just north of Butler Avenue. The Fourth Street Trail links with the
Route 66 Trail near the Aquaplex.
