Gennett Records, an offshoot of the Starr Piano Company of Richmond, Indiana, recorded many of the jazz greats in the late 1910s and 1920s. The Gennett Records Walk of Fame was created in 2007 and celebrates more than 30 of the label’s famous musicians with a record-shaped mosaic medallion and plaque.
