Built in 1889, the Issaquah Depot was originally a passenger station for the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway and, later, for the Northern Pacific Railroad. After nearly 80 years of service, the station closed after the Northern Pacific abandoned the line. Today the station serves as a museum and features interactive exhibits about the Industrial Revolution and the history of Issaquah.
