The Northern Pacific Depot Museum in Wallace, Idaho, features several exhibits celebrating the railroading history of the 20th century, including a replica of an early working railroad station. The 1901 Northern Pacific Depot, which was moved several hundred feet from its original location in 1986 due to construction of an interstate highway, houses the museum and gift shop. Today, the depot and museum’s site along the Coeur d’Alene River provides a nice view for visitors.
