Great path, very smooth for inline skating once you get out past the downtown area. Also great is Shelby Bottoms Greenway, again great once you get to that path but surface streets and some rough patches.

This is the point where the Mall trailhead connects to the Downtown trail. Going left will take you past some interesting industril areas and ends at the closure of the Metro Center Levee Trail. Going right takes you downtown.
