In the northwestern part of the trail, you can park on Poleline Rd or Moore Blvd near this park. There are lots of walkers near the park so watch your speed.

Oh, getting sight of the bridge! That means we're almost through with the gravel. Two miles of gravel - lots of work.

On street parking is available on Pole Line Rd and Moore Blvd near Sandy Motly Park. The gravel starts in the northwest corner and continues on the north and east side of Wildhorse Golf Course. Here my dog is asking 'do we really want to do this?'

In the southeastern part of the trail, here it runs south beside Harper Junior High School (on the left). Trails and schools are a pair in Davis where walking and biking are part of the plan.

Heading southwest from John Barovetto Park, the trail runs along a drainage ditch. It's the same drainage ditch that runs beside the park's off-leash area. When it fills in the rainy season, I let my dog play in the water at the off-leash area.

The southeastern part of the trail is paved and winds through greenspaces and parks, including John Barovetto Park where there is on-street parking on Arroyo Ave and where your well-behaved dog can run free in the off-leash area.
