This sign directs trail users onto the access road to a nearby energy company immediately northwest of Manoa Road. It is currently the only way to avoid the gap caused by the removal of an old RR bridge that once spanned Manoa Road. Taken July 2016.

The longer, asphalt-paved northwest segment and shorter, woodchip-paved southeast section of the trail are currently separated by steep banks on either side of Manoa Road. There are plans to eventually build a bridge over the road to close this gap.
