The Bison Trail runs across southwestern Lincoln from the intersection of W. Prospector Court and S. 1st Street (south of State Route 2) to the entrance of Pioneers Park Nature Center on S. Coddington Avenue. This scenic pathway offers a natural escape from the city and is especially popular with bicyclists.
At the trail's eastern endpoint, connect to the Salt Creek Levee Trail and ride deeper into the heart of Lincoln, or take the Jamaica North Trail south to the city's southern edge.
On the Bison Trail's western end, explore Pioneers Park Nature Center and its network of hiking trails.
Parking for the Bison Trail is available at Pioneers Park Nature Center (S. Coddington Avenue south of W. Van Dorn Street) and at the Jamaica North Trail trailhead at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Speedway Circle.
