The El Paso Walking Trail runs along part of an old railroad right-of-way through the town of El Paso, beginning at the city park on the south side of town and ending at a creek north of town among cultivated fields. The trail offers a pleasant stroll or relaxing bike ride, with access to town amenities.

El Paso Walking Trail (IL) Reviews

The small city of El Paso has done a great job converting this stretch of old abandoned railroad right-of-way into a recreational asset for the community and visitors alike. I wish we could see more trails like this pop up in villages and towns all over America.
