From I-39, take Exit 14 and turn right onto Route 24/W. Main St. Go 0.8 mile and turn right onto S. Sycamore St. Proceed three blocks to South Pointe Park and follow signs to the parking lot by the swimming pool and tennis courts.
The small city of El Paso has done a great job converting this stretch of old abandoned railroad right-of-way into a recreational asset for the community and visitors alike. I wish we could see more trails like this pop up in villages and towns all over America.
