The Fern Canyon Scenic Trail runs through Van Damme State Park, with portions of the trail that are accessible via. bike. Access to the trail is only available at the western end of the trail, near the visitor center. From here, the trail is open to mountain biking up until reaching the trail loop.
A portion sometimes called the Old Logging Road Trail is still open to biking, but the rest of the Fern Canyon Loop is not.
Parking for the Fern Canyon Scenic Trail is available at the western end of the trail.
