Hare Snipe Creek Trail Description

The Hare Snipe Trail provides access to Lake Lynn; its northern terminus follows Hare Snipe Creek from Ray Road to Wooten Meadow Park. From here the trail makes a loop around Lake Lynn, with a boardwalk crossing the lake's headwaters. Enjoy scenic views across lake, particularly during autumn when the leaves change colors.

There are many wildlife viewing opportunities, particularly around Lake Lynn, a paved loop. Watch for turtles, beavers and waterfowl.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at Lake Lynn Park and Community Center, 7921 Ray Road. Parking is also available at 7370 Leesville Road and 2801 W. Millbrook Road (both are parking lots). Street parking is available at 7609 Glenharden Drive. For more information, contact:

Hare Snipe Creek Trail Reviews

The Hare Snipe Creek trail is basically a sidewalk that follows Leesville Rd from Millbrook Rd to Lynn Rd. There are no trail signs on the trail from Wooten Park until you get to Lake Lynn Trail. Lake Lynn Trail is a paved walkway around an in-town lake that is surrounded by apartment complexes.
