The Independence Trail sits right at the northern edge of the Denver suburb of Arvada. The trail pushes right up against the southern border of the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge. It travels east-west for a mile, with small spurs reaching into the neighboring subdivision. The Independence Trail is open for non-motorized uses including jogging, biking and dog-walking.
Parking for the trail can be found at the west endpoint of the trail on West 95th Street.
