Junction Pass and Crossroads Trail is a 1.5-mile scenic trail that connects the uptown and downtown neighborhoods of Tupper Lake, NY along a scenic, wooded corridor. The trail is also sometimes called Crossroads of the Adirondacks for the interpretive signs along the route that highlight the history of Tupper Lake. These signs were installed by the Wild Center, a local nature education center. Junction Pass signs guide trail users along the route.
Trail users should note that e-bikes are not allowed. The northern end of the trail picks up at the Tupper Lake Depot which serves as an endpoint for the 34-mile Adirondack Rail Trail as well as the Adirondack Railroad, a scenic tourist line which runs all the way south to Utica. The next 1.5 miles have a crushed stone surface until reaching the Tupper Lake Waterfront Park where an additional asphalt path offers waterfront views of Raquette Pond.
The Junction Pass and Crossroads Trail run between the Tupper Lake Depot and Tupper Lake Waterfront Park, with parking available at both ends.
