The Lagunitas-Rock Spring Fire Road cuts through California's Marin Headlands just north of Mount Tamalpais State Park. The 3.2-mile route is motly forested as it gains and loses elevation numerous times. Technically, only the southern end of the trail is park of the state park, but this route gives visitors access to the region's numerous trails including within the park.
Parking for the Lagunitas-Rock Spring Fire Road is available at either end of the trail.
