The Lake Tahoe Boulevard Bike Path follows its namesake road for its entire route in scenic El Dorado County, but unlike most sidepaths, this trail offers a winding course through dense forest. Smooth pavement welcomes a variety of users. The trail begins in the north at the entrance to South Tahoe High School, while the southern end connects to the Sawmill Bike Path, which will reach the small community of Meyers upon completion.
There are no official parking areas for the Lake Tahoe Boulevard Bike Path. The trail can be accessed from the Sawmill Bike Path along Sawmill Road or from South Tahoe High School (1735 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe).
