People in the Levy neighborhood of North Little Rock have the opportunity to enjoy a good quality multipurpose pathway right on their doorstep. The Levy Spur Trail sits on a converted Union Pacific railbed. It is paved the whole length between Pike Avenue beneath I-40/ US 65, and Louisiana St., although the old railroad corridor continues to the Camp Robinson town line. The trail is suitable for walking, jogging, biking, and wheelchair use. It can also act as a commuting path, as it travels between the residential and commercial parts of the neighborhood.
Park at the trailhead on 52nd Street. There's a few spaces found in a lot at the southern end of the trail. You may also be park at the business premises along the trail.
Very nice, flat, shaded trail. Not very long but an easy ride.
