Overview
The McKenzie Trail is a paved 1.5-mile rail-trail in Fresno, CA. The accessible trail has a paved concrete surface with a painted line down the middle.
About the Route
The McKenzie Trail runs parallel to E McKenzie Avenue and E Washington Avenue through quiet, residential neighborhoods east of downtown Fresno.
From its western end at the intersection of N Willow Avenue & E McKenzie Avenue, the trail heads east past residences, several fields, a few churches and a middle school. Short trail spurs provide connections to the surrounding neighborhoods. The route is sheltered by trees and has lamp posts. There are several road crossings, where caution is advised. The western end of the trail can be accessed from the dead end of E Washington Avenue and from N Clovis Avenue.
The McKenzie Trail runs between the intersection of N Willow Ave & E McKenzie Ave (Fresno) and the dead end of E Washington Ave (Fresno).
There is no designated parking available along the trail.
