The Rail Bridge Trail in New Richmond runs for 1.6 miles through the city of New Richmond, with 0.8 miles entirely through natural settings and the rest on a separated paved path near roads. Short paths provide access to the trail from the nearby neighborhoods and community buildings. The trail connects to the WITC Rustic Trail and passes near the Woodland Creek Park. For most of its route, the trail follows the Paper Jack Creek and sometimes runs alongside the creek. About halfway along the trail, it crosses the creek via a pedestrian bridge. The flat smooth trail that connects directly with the sidewalk on either end is accessible for those using mobility devices and is a easy path for families with strollers. The Rail Bridge Trail is perfect for commuting to work or school and for going on a run, bike ride, or nature walk.
Parking may be available on nearby streets at either end of the trail.
