Parking and trail access is available at several locations along the route via local streets.
Ample free parking is also available at the Interstate Shopping located at the intersection of State Highway 17 and Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey.
Hello,
My family and I use the bike trail often and we recently noticed the vines taking over the trees. Almost half of the trees along the bike trail are getting chocked by the invasive vines.
I would love to take a battery powered saw and cut them at the root but dont want to get arrested for being the cray cray with the saw in the woods. Its so far gone at this point 1 person isnt going to be able to stop it alone.
Thought this would be a good place to alert folks that its alarming.
Thanks,
Sean
" This is a short paved path, level and straight. The Interstate Shopping Center provides plenty of parking and a second reason to visit the area. There are a number of street crossing for such a short trail. It's a nice little trail if you are looking for something short.
Rates a 4 out of 10!
Fred"
Best access for this trail is either from Island Road near the main Ramsey fire station or from the Interstate Shopping Center parking lot (in rear).
A nice short path for families with small children although there are many street crossings.
Don't travel too far to ride this route but if you live or work locally you might want to try it.
This trail does not have any events yet.
