Meandering along the Hudson River, this trail is part of the 51-mile Westchester RiverWalk. Running north from Croton Point Park and through Croton Landing Park, the paved 2.3-mile path offers scenic views of the river and of Haverstraw Bay. The Croton Landing Park has athletic fields, restrooms, and a 9/11 memorial.
The multi-use paved pathway extends along the river with benches, a footbridge, lampposts, and informational signage on the history of the area. The trail and the park are popular with both locals and visitors.
In addition to the trail, there are a number of fun outside activities to enjoy. Take a swim at nearby Croton Point Park or relax on the sandy beaches by the river. There is also a variety of birds and aquatic animals to observe. Whether seeking an alternative route to work, heading to the beach, bird-watching, planning a picnic, going for a bike ride, jogging, or just hoping to enjoy some time outside, the Croton-on-Hudson portion of the RiverWalk is the perfect opportunity.
Parking is available at 1 Senasqua Rd in Croton-On-Hudson. Parking is also available at Croton Point Park (1 Croton Point Ave) for a fee. Please see their website for more details.
