Fargo Mickelson/Tricorn Bike Path

Beautiful Trail!

July, 2024 by nathan70

We really enjoyed riding along this gem of a trail in Fargo, ND. The majority of the trail follows the Red River of the North through a series of parks and is really quite scenic. And my dad got to join the #SaveTheBestForLast club when visiting North Dakota as his 50th state. For more details, check out our YouTube video: https://youtu.be/QIS_4B_8Jg8?si=U1gaRzb3BbdFfMqC.

New bike trail! Nicely done

There is one section not completed from Highway 108 through Maplewood State Park. It will be really nice when that is completed. Few sections where the terrain is difficult but for the most part very nice trail!

Scenic Ride Across Multiple Bridges

July, 2023 by ron and lolly

We rode the Fargo Trail last Sunday. The trail was easy to access from I 94, and there were clean bathrooms at the park at the south end of the trail.
Enjoyed the meandering ride by the river and loved the variety of bridges across the Red River joining Fargo with Moorhead, MN. The trail was paved and overall in pretty good shape.
All in all, a good day.

A good trail

If you want a long walk, a nice bicycle ride or practice for hiking, this trail is a very good choice! There's lots of beautiful foliage, signs describing the local ecosystem and plenty of benches you can rest at.

A beautiful trail North of Twin Valley. Tree lined, Shady. Several scenic bridges and rivers. A hidden gem.

Agassiz Recreational Trail

Its nice

We started in Ulen and walked 5 miles & back. Its along the highway so it’s pretty loud. Its pretty though. Probably wont go to that part again though, hoping the other parts arent right up against the highway.

Agassiz Recreational Trail

Scenic walk

The walk from Twin Valley to the next paved road is scenic with river crossing and lots of woodland. Worth the trek.

Fun Multi-Use Trail

April, 2015 by jenkinsqh

I've biked/run much of this trail. The trail head beginning in Ulen north to Twin Valley runs right along highway 32. Some sections are rutted grass cover only, the rest hard packed dirt/gravel paths. Gravel can be small class 5, to larger diameter rock. Low pressure in your tires helps. Not scenic. At the north end of Twin Valley, the trail veers off the highway with a few scenic bridge crossings, and some smaller grades to climb. Some sandy areas that can be hard to run/bike on closer to Fertile. All-in-all, this section is very pretty, and offers plenty of shade, and protection from wind.
