Trail and Road Ride (35 miles): Our combination ride is for the cyclist looking for a little challenge out on the roads of Western Maryland! The ride begins at the Sustainable Energy Research Facility (SERF) building on the Frostburg State University (FSU) campus, travels down to the Frostburg Trailhead and onto the Great Alleghany Passage. From there the ride crosses the Mason-Dixon line, the Continental Divide, through the Big Savage Tunnel (under the 4 Mile Wind Farm) and on to the Deal Trailhead. From there the course ventures out onto the winding country roads of Western Maryland. You will go by and through three wind farms, a solar farm, a hydro facility, several geo thermal projects and through the FSU campus. Come and enjoy this mixed loop, including other excursions on to gravel roads for picture ops with wind turbines! Also, a 16-mile Family Fun Ride from Frostburg Trailhead to Continental Divide
