Wildlife Photowalks are designed to photograph all kinds of wildlife including birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, wildflowers, etc., while we learn how to do it well and avoid wildlife photography pitfalls. We discuss technique, gear, and essential knowledge about photography and wildlife. A desire to make great wildlife images, and a good camera and lens are all that’s needed, though a lens with an effective focal length of at least 200mm to 300mm is very helpful. Photowalks will meet in visitor center and be at a relaxed paced on flat surfaces. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers. No registration required.
