Virginia Creeper Trail Trestle, Virginia Creeper National Recreation Trail
Trestle 7 originally 636' long was erected in the 1890’s by the Virginia Carolina Railroad. On 4/27/11 a tornado ravaged the area and lifted the trestle off of its base and toppled it over. The new trestle is 454' long and was dedicated on 4/28/14.
