The 26-mile Catskill Scenic Trail stretches from Bloomville to Roxbury, New York, winding through the Catskill Mountains, a farming valley, small towns and the Delaware River. The route is primarily agricultural, with turkeys and beavers spotted along the way. The trail offers several places to relax and even a few spots to cut from the path for refreshments or to browse local bookstores. The open fields and farmland lined with trees present a breathtaking view of the autumn foliage, complete with cows and horses meandering in the distance.
