The Berlin Road Sidepath provides a pleasant, shaded paved trail for biking and walking in the community of Lindenwold. Stretching between Linden Avenue and Gibbsboro Road, the trail runs along the side of the road through a tree-lined corridor next to the NJ Transit line that services the area. The borough has invested in streetscape improvements to help improve off-road connectivity along this corridor, supplementing the sidepath trail with lampposts and other upgrades.
While not particularly long or scenic, the trail avoids road crossings and provides a little distance from the roadside, giving it a bit more of a natural feel than your typical sidepath. Bike lanes and sidewalk on Egg Harbor Road help provide continued access on the southern end of the trail, giving area students a convenient path to the Lindenwold High School and connecting further down the road to the United States Avenue Trail, which leads into Gibbsboro in the north.
No dedicated parking is available for this trail; parking may be available at the nearby high school off of Egg Harbor Road at the southern end of the trail, or just east of the school at Lindenwold Memorial Park off of United States Avenue. Be sure to follow any posted parking signs and regulations.
Nice easy, beginner path. Can grab something to eat before aor after at nearby Piza place on corner of Linden/Berlin Rd.
