About the Route
The actual southern endpoint of the trail is located around S Concord Dr. Heading north, the trail passes the Blueberry Trail Park and reaches Mayfield Road via a pedestrian bridge over the creek. A little west of that, on Orchard Road, trail users can find restaurants and stores. The trail's surroundings are dominated by native prairie and wetlands and is a great place for bird spotting.
The Blackberry Trail Forest Preserve runs between S Concord Dr. (Montgomery) and Mayfield Dr. (Montgomery).
