Ample parking is available at Oak Marr (Jermantown Rd./CR 655). You can also park at the shopping center on Blake Lane at Arlington Blvd. and at Blake Lane School Site Park.
The Blake Lane "Sidepath" is the sidewalk on either side of the road. I have confirmed this with Fairfax Advocates for Better Biking.
At first I thought I was crazy or blind when I could not find this trail on either side of the lane for the life of me. I wrote to FABB and their representative said that it's an error on the map.
The sidewalk is pretty bumpy in places, and has a fair amount of pedestrian traffic, plus cars often poke out of side streets, forcing you to go around behind them or just stop and wait for them to go by. There are also frequent attacks by plant life growing over into the sidewalk space. The walled area going over 66 is nice, though.
