Overview
The Brazos Park East Trail runs through Brazos Park East for 1.8 miles and connects trail users to the Waco Riverwalk.
About the Route
From the Waco Riverwalk at Herring Ave., the trail heads north and soon enters a wooded area with good shade, multiple small bridges, and clear signage. The path is paved and in good condition. A disk golf course is co-located with the trail and has benches and trash receptacles in a few places.
Exiting the wooded area the trail follows along the Brazos River with excellent views of the bluffs on the other side. The park is small but lots of parking is available, along with picnic areas, restrooms, and a boat ramp.
Connections
At the trail's southern end, the Brazos Park East Trail connects to the Waco Riverwalk.
