The Broadneck Peninsula Trail is 1.2 miles of asphalt walking and biking pathway in east Annapolis. The trail runs parallel to College Parkway, from Green Holly Drive to Old Cape St. Claire Road, across from Broadneck Park. A spur reaches Broadneck Library and another to Walnut Ridge Drive. The second phase of the trail will stretch to Bay Dale Drive, and construction launched in the summer of 2018. The vision for the trail is for it to connect to the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail.
Parking is available at Broadneck Park (613 College Pkwy). Other amenities include athletic fields, picnic tables, restrooms and a dog park.
The new section has been opened bringing the length of the trail to about 2 miles. The new section is quite hilly and will be a bit challenging for casual and older riders.
New section recently opened. The eventual path will link up with the B&A trail for serious mileage.
