The Clements Road Trail is a paved path that parallels Missoula's busy Clements Road and provides a safe alternative to riding on the shoulder. The path runs for nearly 1.3 miles between the South Avenue Trail and 3rd Street, switching between the east and west side of Clements Avenue at Mount Avenue and North Avenue. The path links to other west-side Missoula trails and offers nice views of the valley's surrounding mountains.
There is no official parking for the trail. Access is via other west-side trails.
If you need a safe, traffic free place to run in the middle of Missoula, this is a great trail. It's usually plowed in the winter, as Target Range school is part of the path access. Flat and good decently lit in the dark winter mornings.
