Overview
The East Midtown Greenway is the newest link in Manhattan's vision to have greenways circling the entire island.
About the Route
The route leaves off in the north from Andrew Haskell Green Park, which offers benches scenic landscaped green areas, and views of the Roosevelt Island tram overhead. It also features a funky red canopy sculpture. The trail heads south from here on a trail built out onto the East River and offers spectacular views of both the Manhattan and Brooklyn waterfronts.
Connections
At the northern end of the trail, trail users can connect to the East River Greenway.
The East Midtown Greenway runs between Andrew Haskell Green Park, E 60th St. (New York), and Sutton Place Park South (New York).
There is no designated parking for the trail, but New York City offers numerous public transit operations.
