About the Route
The single trailhead off Harbins Road features parking, bathrooms, water, a bike repair station, and a picnic pavilion. The trail passes under 316 and intersects only one dead-end road near James Shackleford Park, creating an stress-free, relaxing trail experience for people biking, walking, running and rolling. While there are some sunny parts, much of the trail is shaded by oaks, tulip poplars and birches as it follows the river, especially morning and late afternoon. The trail alternates between flat stretches and gently rolling hills.
The Eastern Regional Greenway runs between 2892 Harbins Rd. (Bethlehem), where parking is available, and GA-8 (no trail access here).
Please see TrailLink Map for all parking options and detailed directions.
