Brooklyn's Flatbush Avenue Greenway parallels its namesake roadway for just over a mile from Marine Parkway Bridge to a connection with the Shore Parkway Greenway Trail to the north and Beach Channel Drive Greenway to the south.
All three trails are part of a network called the Jamaica Bay Greenway, which encircles the bay with a combination of on-road bike lanes, sidewalks, and greenways. See the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for more information on this network.
There is parking available at Plumb Beach located along the Shore Parkway Greenway Trail, just to the left of the northern end of the Flatbush Avenue Greenway.
