Overview
The Frager Road Trail runs alongside the Green River for 5.5 miles in Kent just south of Seattle, WA. It follows the route of the out-of-service Frager Road, and along a portion of the trail, shares Frager Road with vehicle traffic.
About the Route
The northernmost endpoint of the trail is located just south of S 200th St., although the northernmost access point isn't until S 204th St.
The northernmost mile of the trail shares the road with vehicle traffic except for a brief off-road portion that travels underneath S 212th St. where the road travels over.
After passing 53rd Pl S, bollards mark the start of a vehicle-free trail for the next 2.3 miles until reaching Cottonwood Grove (23004 Frager Rd.).
At Cottonwood Grove, the trail returns to a shared road, although the route is lightly trafficked. The trail continues as shared road, all the way to the southern endpoint at West Valley Highway N, except for a brief section at Downey Bridge Monument, where a short section of trail has been constructed.
