The Frankford Creek Greenway trail is a 1.2 mile trail which connects Aramingo Ave and Wheatsheaf Lane to Delaware Ave and Lewis St and the East Coast Greenway/Port Richmond Trail at its southern end. The trail is paved its entire length and is wheelchair accessible, and can be used for biking, inline skating, and walking as well. The trail opened in early June of 2018 and will eventually help connect the upper Tacony Creek Park Trail at the edge of Montgomery County to the East Coast Greenway along Delaware Avenue.
Although there are several warehouses and apartment complexes along the route, there is no designated parking lot at either of the trail-heads, or along the trail. However, at the southern end, where the trail connects with the Port Richmond Trail, there is a parking lot on the western side of the Port Richmond trail off of N Delaware ave at General Pulaski Park, with room for around 18 cars.
