The Frankford Creek Greenway, which opened in 2018, offers a 1.2-mile paved pathway, running from Aramingo Avenue and Wheatsheaf Lane to Delaware Avenue and Lewis Street.
At its southern end, it connects to the Port Richmond Trail and, at its northern end, there are plans to connect it to the Tacony Creek Greenway. All three trails are part of The Circuit Trails, a vast network of connecting trails in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Although there are several warehouses and apartment complexes along the route, there is no designated parking lot at either of the trail-heads, or along the trail. However, at the southern end, where the trail connects with the Port Richmond Trail, there is a parking lot on the western side of the Port Richmond trail off of N Delaware ave at General Pulaski Park, with room for around 18 cars.
