This is a shared-use path that runs along the Garden State Parkway/ US Route 9 Bridge between Atlantic and Cape May counties. The northern trailhead is located in the City of Somers Point, along US 9, near the site of the now-demolished Beesley's Point Bridge. The trail then connects users via the Garden State Parkway bridge to Beesley Point Park in Upper Township, where they can find a small public beach, boardwalk with pergola, and picnic shelter with rooftop observation deck overlooking the bay. The trail parallels the southbound lanes of the parkway, but is separated by a concrete barrier and fencing on one side, while the other offers sweeping views of the Great Egg Harbor watershed. The bridge is also a good vantage point for scenic sunsets. The bridge is good for both pedestrians and cyclists, but it has a steep grade, matching the grade of the bridge. Pets are not allowed.
At Somers Point, there is parking at the Great Egg Harbor Toll Plaza along US Route 9. There are accessible parking spaces at this point. In Upper Township, Beesley's Point Park acts as the trailhead. The park is located at 10 Harbor Road.
